OK, so the supreme court subverted the constitution to install Bush. That doesn't make it a coup d'état. I didn't steal the presidency. I'm just borrowing it for a while. OK, so we jailed thousands of people without charging them or letting them see a lawyer. That doesn't make it fascism. OK, so the government is tapping phones and smearing its opponents as anti-american. That doesn't make it a police state. See you at 1. Death to terrorists. OK, now. Bush rules. OK, so we're going to wage war against Iraq without the slightest excuse. But that doesn't make it wrong. I guess we had it coming, what with Saddam maybe possibly having weapons of mass destruction and all. OK, so we let the government do whatever it wants.
