Even after the war ends, the U.S. wants to leave 10,000 troops in afghanistan. (Man: 10,000=0. It is mathemilitarily impossible for there to be fewer than 10,000.) Pentagon math depends on what the meaning of "troop" is. (Man: All combat troops will be gone. Instead, there will be 10,000 heavily armed, combat-trained, non-combat troops.) If there are "30,000" "Troops" we say 20,000 without air quotes. (Man: The first "10,000" simply don't count. Logically.) If there are zero troops, that means there are -10,000 troops in Afghanistan. (Man: -10,000 U.S. troops= +10,000 Taliban)
