Man: This report says that in our juvenile justice system, minorities are consistently treated more harshly that whites. Minorities are more likely to be arrested, tried, convincted and jailed, for longer terms for the exact same offence. And these disparities become magnified with each additional step of the juvenile justice system. What do you say to that? Judge: I'm going to let myself off with a warning this time. Toles: Slap your wrist if you do it again.
