I’d say demonizing congress is a trick the Wall Street talking heads use to escape the wrath of the people.
After their stellar performance, in which a few CEO big players turned thousands’ and millions’ investments into chickenfeed (and got themselves bonuses for it), they get bailed out with taxpayer money, pay themselves more bonuses, and everything is fine and dandy.
Yet the people are angry, for whatever reason? Why, then it is all because of big government! Big government is the problem! Not us, we are all honest, hard-working businesspeople!
Magnaut, I’m surprised you actually believe that stuff. If the “people” are angry at government, they are just as angry with Wall Street - and they didn’t need a slew of pundits and talk show hosts to tell them that. They just needed to read the news of the latest bonuses.
