I think the likelihood of Putin (and Trump) deploying (or at least attempting to deploy) their nation’s nuclear arsenals, if confronted with ultimate failure directly attributable to an outcome of their policy agendas, is at minimum a 50% certainty.
I think the likelihood of Kim deploying any nukes he has control over, for any whim of a “reason”, is a certainty far closer to 100%.
I could see a President Trump trying to bait Kim into a nuclear launch just so he, President Trump, could order a retaliatory strike of far greater scale, making him an historical Big Man of war. “This is what happens when somebody tries to take on Trump!” he’ll gloat immediately after the strike, chest puffed up as far as he is capable of (but still just a fraction of the girth of his waist).
