I was trying to use ”J’accuse”, popularised even in the English-speaking world because of Emile Zola, which I think just means “I accuse [anyone/everyone]” (was it incorrerctly used? ….should have been Je t’accuse ?), which is what Sarkozy was doing to the Roma, blaming them for increased crime etc
But I was hoping I was using the correct form, even if informally, to point back at the French for supporting Sarkozy’s policies.
(In Portuguese we have the tu/você although the Brazilians colloquially made the formal informal: everyone is você )
^ Merci! ;-)
