In keeping with the scatological flavor of the cartoon, I have the pleasure to report that today, on NPR’s All Things Considered, outgoing Congressman Will Hurd (R-Texas) observed that, going forward, he has this advice for legislators both for the good of the institution, and the country: “Don’t be an a-hole and don’t be a socialist.” Being a Texas Republican, I think I have a pretty good idea which bunch he views as the socialists. And which bunch are the a-holes, too.
