Well, I have, at times, worn a Van Dyke, and I maintained it because I liked how it looked.
When I’ve worn full beards, on the other hand, it’s been because I hate shaving & it was winter. And what I don’t understand is the guys who shave around a beard.
Her: “You need to trim that thing!”
Me: “Um, no – there’s point to having a full beard if you’re going to shave anyway.”
