Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for May 11, 1997
Transcript:
TEDDY: Today is Mother's Day. NATE: Yup. TEDDY: What do you do for Mother's Day? I mean, you living with your Dad and all. NATE: Well, it's a little weird. My mom lives two thousand miles away! All I can really do is send her a card and call her on the phone! But it's like...I don't even know her that well! TEDDY: Wow. That is weird. NATE: Yeah. I was so little when my folks got divorces that I just don't remember much about her! TEDDY: So you don't really even know what it's like to have a mother! FRANCIS: Nate! Where's your sunblock? Where's your cap? If you're going to play outside, you've got to protect your skin! Here, put this on! NATE: I have a vague idea. FRANCIS: For later, I brought along some nutritious tofu cookies!
Lincoln peirce should put nate’s mother in the strip at least once.
