Cathy's date: We were made for each other, Cathy. Cathy: What's the extended warranty situation? Date: Excuse me? Cathy: Everything of value comes with an extended warranty now...VCR's, TV's, cars, phones... Date: I'm talking about a relationship. Cathy: Precisely. If they can't even build an expensive camera that can last ninety days without the buyer needing a warranty against failure...What hope is there for something as fragile as a relationship?? Date: What? Cathy: This is the warranty decade! Things are built to break! The questions isn't "will it fall apart?" But "how soon?...how badly?...how often?" I've been trained by my electronics store! I will no longer fall in love with anything without first reviewing my extended warranty options!! Date: Forget it! Forget the whole thing! Cathy: I knew it, the ones with lots of moving parts are the first to go. There are no guarantees in love. However, some may be available for a small additional investment.
