Cathy: Four outfits I actually wear smashed into three inches of space by six feet of clothes I never wear. I can't get rid of this because it was so expensive. I can't get rid of this or this because I never tried hard enough to find something to match. I can't get rid of this because I promised I'd love it forever and then I ignored it for a year. I can't get rid of this, this or this because with a few alterations they'd be perfectly wearable. I can't get rid of that whole section because it would be so wasteful to get rid of such lovely things just because I'm temporarily too large to fit into them. To some, the conscience is a guide. To me, it's a roommate who's hogging all the closet space.
