Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for November 18, 2004
Mom: While you're off eating the most treasured family meal of the year with someone else's family, I'll be here, working night and day on your wedding plans, Cathy. Cathy: Okay, mom. Mom: I will baby-sit both your and Irving's dogs, including walking, feeding, bathing, brushing, and moving to the sofa to make a little more room for them in my bed! Cathy: Um, mom... Mom: I will sleep with a cell phone strapped to my head in case you think of any tiny thing you want me to do that I don't rush out and do on my own!! Cathy: Mom. Mom: The seeds are sown for the winter crop of guilt. Dad: Should be our biggest harvest yet.
