Transcript:
Cathy: Jan brought the risks of eating grilled animal products. Woman: Grilling produces two potent carniogens: "HCA's" form inside the meat, and "PAH's" form when fat from meat, poultry or fish drips onto hot coals. The "PAH's" are deposited onto food through smoke or the flare-ups that create those yummy, but possibly toxic, black grill lines! Cathy: Marcia brought the risks of eating vegetables. Woman: Pesticides! Environmental toxins! Contaminated rainwater! Unregulated imports! Cathy: Kim brought the risks of eating pie, potato salad, and chips. Irving: Did anyone bring any food? Cathy: No one could think of anything. Party: B.Y.O.R. *Bring Your Own Research.
