I remember when I bought each pair and how much it cost...I know every time I wore the shoes...who I was with...what he had for dinner...how much I weighed...and whether it was a good or bad hair day. To get rid of shoes would be to throw out my history...my whole connection to my past...some write their memoirs. I throw mine in the bottom of the closet.
