Cathy: After months of wedding dress shopping, I've brought my mom along to be the "closer". Saleswoman: Excellent! Mom: First I'd like to see Cathy's top three choices. Saleswoman: Of course. Mom: Then I'd like her to try on her top ten runner-ups. Saleswoman: Yes, well... Mom: Then she needs to model every single other dress in the store...then we'll start all over again from the very first dress so we can compare!! Saleswoman: You said she was the "closer"!! Cathy: The "closer of the store". Mom: Will you be getting more in?
Maybe I’m odd, but I hate shopping. I’m much more likely to grab the nearest thing that’s the right size and matches the worn-out item I’m replacing, and that’s it. I’ve never tried on anything in the shop, apart from shoes.
