baslim,one of the things I had in mind was nuclear plants for electric cars, but didn’t say it. I haven’t read that book yet (it did catch my eye), but from what I know nuclear waste is not trivial, especially if you include low-level waste (e.g., “infected” clothing, tools, etc.). Personally, I’d like to go for an all-out assault on fusion - either solve the problem or prove once and for all that it’s not possible for us.
