“Once Upon a Time in the West” – I guess it was around “High Noon” – there came this stranger in that outfit he got for “A Fistful of Dollars” when “The Wild Bunch” turned into “The Hateful Eight”, because such a look representing it all, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” was “Unforgiven” by these guys. So he was thrown outta town… Unable to sleep with the fishes in the desert he “Dances With Wolves” now, so they say

And I just got a flashback to the comedy-western “The Villain” with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the good guy in white and Kirk Douglas as the bad guy in black.

When being white isn’t a privilege!

Tommy: I see by your outfit that you are a cowboy;

Dick: I see by your outfit you are a cowboy, too;

Both: We see by our outfits that we are both cowboys.

He picked a bad day to wear white.

Were there that many old cowboy movies where the good guys always wore white, or even always wore white hats? It seems to me that the good guys almost always wore black, as far as you can tell with black and white movies.

If he just stumbled in there and didn’t know this convention was going on, maybe he can fast-talk his way out. If he actually went in to arrest them, he’d better have an unseen posse waiting outside, ready to back him up.
