When Drs Ghote and Sail introduced Moon Maid’s DNA to Glenna, they created Mysta Chimera, unaware of exactly how the introduction of Lunarian DNA would manifest itself in their surgical victim of alterations both physical and mental. Mutating Mysta on orders from Mr. Bribery, the doctors are presumed to have died in a Space Coupe they could not control, in a crash on Jupiter.
Mysta Chimera has had many adventures since the introduction of Moon Maid’s DNA. She fought to save Honeymoon at Ace Tower in “The Fall of the Blackhearts,” took on the fear-mongering Representative Bellowthon, and met Moon Maid’s mother, Liska, at New Moon Valley, where Tracy put down an attempted coup by Governor Thorin’s brother, Ro-Zan. I have been a fan of Gould’s audacious side since my introduction to the strip way back when. Always a pleasure to see Mysta Chimera, Diet Smith, and Junior Tracy. Excellent work by Charles Ettinger.
