Rather than buying the name-brand, full-priced cartridges from their web site or a box store, go on eBay (or perhaps Amazon, IDK) and you can get refilled cartridges for a lot less than new. I’m talking a whole lot less. The more common your printer, the less the price will be. Every couple of years I buy a box of assorted cartridges for my printer. Of course this doesn’t address the premise of this cartoon, if your printer ‘breaks’, better to just replace it than try to repair it. They are pretty much throw-away, just like everything else we import from China.
