Mike: Say, Mark, is the congress progressing well?
Mark: Sure! Today we had a very exciting vote!..

Mark: The congress was deadlocked on this particular resolution…Then, suddenly a rumor broke that the delegate from Michigan State had been dating the delegate from Vassar. This might have prejudiced Michigan’s vote.
(panel 3)
Mark: Finally the Vassar delegate broke down and confessed, and both were disqualified. This display so moved the Smith delegate that she in turn switched her vote, and the ayes had it! Wow, talk about excitement!

Mike: What were you voting on?
Mark: I forget..
