Zonker: Look out, Spidey! Whew! He made it. Hot diggity! Another great New York "Daily News" coupon poll! Mark: Could you spare me? I'm still recovering from the Son of Sam sentencing poll... Zonker: "Yes! I want to be part of the "Daily News" tax revolt! To force the pols to reduce spending, I favor cuts in property sales and income taxes!" Mark: What's the alternative. Zonker: "No. Leave the present tax set-up alone." Mark: That's it? That's the whole questionnaire? Zonker: Well, we "News" fans like our polls simple. Mark: But what a cheap set-up! They've reduced a highly complex relationship between social services and taxes to a no-lose question on whether or not people would like to improve their cash flow! Zonker: Well, it makes sense to mem! It's about time we got something for nothing! I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more. Even if it means quoting stupid lines from "Network"! Mark: Zonker... Zonker: An outboard motor in every pot! A steak in every garage! Mark: Zonker, have you had your lithium today?
