Peter: So...how are things going with your little gal pal? Jason: Can you say "total nuclear meltdown"? Peter: Uh-oh. What happened? Jason: This whole year it's been obvious that Eileen has wanted me to like her, but as soon as I told her I did, I discovered she had all these ridiculous expectations and conditions attached! Peter: Such as? Jason: Well, for starters, she wanted me to actually act as though I liked her! Peter: This nuclear meltdown...was it perchance in your brain? Jason: Oh, well. Better to find these things out now than after we'd gotten engaged or something, I guess.
It’s amazing how obviously in the wrong someone can be, and they’re still willing to defend themselves like their life depends on it lmao
