Heart: Did you notice? A lot more people are wearing fur coats these days. Kat: Yeah, it's back in style, I guess. Heart: "Back in style"? What do you mean, "back in style"? Kat: It happens all the time...things go "out," then they come back "in"! Heart: You mean people stopped wearing fur coats because they were "out"? Heart: Shoot. Here I thought folks just came to their senses. Kat: Nah. Being sensible is "out," too. I mean, somebody decided they needed to remake "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." What does that tell you?
It tells a lot actually. For example, his wife has no real appreciation for the wishes of her dead husband and his art, the people who made this movie could not care less about source material and accuracy, and the people who saw this movie and didn’t turn it off after: the awful rehash of the classic song, the “pucker up and kiss it” line in reference to the mistletoe on the Grinch’s butt, or even the wonderful dog butt scene, were either little kids or hardcore Jim Carrey fans.
