Dean: It says turtles eat bugs and plants and stuff. Heart:Ok, my mom has lettuce I can give her. Dean: How do you know it's a girl turtle? Heart: Because she had the good sense to find me. Dean: I think the turtle found us both at the same time. Heart: But I think she and I had a connection you can't understand.
I’ve studied wildlife and I still have a hard time figuring a turtle’s gender.
