heart: You think I should give this ten dollars to charity? are you crazy, dean? Dean: Look at it this way, heart: it's money that you found...you didn't even know you had it! giving it away is not only a good deed, but it doesn't cost you anything! heart: christmas is over, dean! I don't have to think about being good for at least six months! heart: Santa, if you're watching, i'm not with her!
Speaking of found money: I found $50.00 once long time ago when we were on our regular walk. My mother told me that on her way to work she found $500.00 in a roll at a bus stop… She didn’t keep any for herself but gave all of my kids $100.00 each and the rest to me and my brother. We all went out for really fancy dinner on that day.
Before that, long time ago we had a break in, and they stole our wedding jewelry which I just wore about a day or two before that, and didn’t put it away…my husband’s university ring was taken as well as his wedding ring, which he only wore on special occasions and which we kept in our safe…anyway, because we never insured the jewelry in a separate rider, the total value wasn’t covered…
I looked at that gift to the kids from my mother as fate making it even—steven more or less…
