Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for September 28, 2009
Transcript:
Luann says, "Elwood Druit proposed to me" Nancy says, "Excuse me? Proposed? As in marriage?" Luann says, "Yup. He rented the park, catered dinner, hired musicians, it was really something. I said, 'No' of course" Nancy says, "Well, good. How did he take it?" Luann says, "Very gentlemanly. He said he knows we're too young but he wanted to get his reservation in early. He said he'd ask again some day. Then he brought me home" Luann says, "So should I feel flattered or creeped out?" Nancy says, "I'd go with creeped out."
Actually I start to find Elwood nice, a true gentleman with a great will.
