So, I worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years. A family owned set of restaurants thru 2 counties. The health inspectors in one county were tougher than the other county. One day while working at one in the tough county, the health inspector showed up. She wanted the manager to follow her around while she made the inspection, but she showed up during lunch, and he was a “working manager”, so he was busy helping where ever needed, and told her to just go ahead and do here inspection, and that he would check with her after lunch. She didn’t like that, and got mad. She wrote us up for a bunch of piddly stuff, and for a few years, she kept that up. The owners finally set up a meeting with her boss about her attitude, how all the other restaurants got really good inspections exept with her. They ended up getting a different inspector after that.
