Jeffrey: Aw, dang it... My kit must be stuck. Danae: ? Stuck on what, Jeffrey? All the trees are over there? Jeffrey: Oh, my rocket boosters solved the age-old problem with trees... but no I've run into a modern problem. Danae: Uh... what sort of modern problem? Jeffrey: See for yourself. *urk* Stupid space junk!! Danae: Boys are so-o-o weird.
What Jeffery’s doing is impossibly wrong on so many levels. For example, assuming it was sufficiently strong, a length of twine long enough to reach the lower limit of low Earth orbit would weigh approximately 360 kilograms (or 800 pounds). The lifting power of a kite capable of supporting that weight would be much too forceful for Jeffery to hold in his hands.`(Yes, I do have too much time on my hands.)
