Charlie Brown stands talking to Violet who is sitting on the sidewalk. He asks, "Do you know that there are over two billion people in the world?"<br> <br> He exclaims, "And not One of them likes me! Not One!!"<br> <br> He continues, "And do you know what makes it even worse?"<br> <br> He sits next to her and concludes, "the way the population is rising, I'm getting more unpopular every day!"<br> <br>
Now it is 7 billion. We need to stop population-increase and increase food-production. At the time of this comic-strip Agronomist Norman Ernest Borlaug worked on wheat which saved a billion people from starvation.
