Snoopy trots along the forest. His nose says,"I'm a nose, and I've never been to a grindstone." His ear says,"So? I'm an ear, and I've never been to the ground..." Snoopy jumps over a rock as his tail says,"I'm a tail, and I"ve never wagged a dog."

His heart says,"Attention please! This is your heart speaking..." His feet says,"Oh, no, him again...we feet do all the running, and he does the talking!"

His heart continues,"I appreciate your all turning out today for this little run..." It continues,"You know what he's going to say next? Remember, if I go, we all go!"

The heart continues,"Remember, if I go, we all go!" His feet say,"What did I tell you? Actually, I think the arteries have him worried..."

They say,"Makes you kind of glad you're a foot, doesn't it?" They continue,"Maybe so....I had an uncle who was in the infantry...he used to say, 'Always be proud that you're a foot!'"

His heart says,'This is your heart speaking again...we're nearing the end of our run..." It concludes,"Let's all be thankful that we belong to a good outfit."

Snoopy thinks,"That's right..." He lies on his back atop his doghouse and thinks,"Me!"
