The Beaglescout and his troops are in the field. The Beaglescout thinks,"Everyone ready?"

They walk down the lane and the Beaglescout thinks,"Okay, troops, today we're going to learn about directions and map reading..."

The troops stand on a rock and look up as the Beaglescout points upwards. He thinks,"Remember what I told you about the moon? You can always tell which way is west because the moon is always over hollywood..."

He kneels down and looks at a sheet of paper. He thinks,"If you can't see the moon, of course, you have to use a map..."

He shows the troops a radar map and thinks,"Now, I want you to take this map, and show me where we are right now..."

As the troops struggle to lay the map out to see it, the Beaglescout thinks,"Put the map someplace where you can all see it..."

The troops smile and look at the map from where they hung it, on the Beaglescout's face.
