Snoopy sits atop the doghouse and looks down at Charlie Brown reaching up to him with an envelope. The latter says,"Spike's been writing to you a lot lately, hasn't he?"<BR><BR> Snoopy looks at the letter and thinks, "Spike leads a very active life"<BR><BR> Spike leans forward on a rock in the desert writing. He writes, "Dear Brother Snoopy, I think everyone should know more of the desert and our way of life."<BR><BR> He reads the letter. It reads, "Two days ago I made a time capsule."<BR><BR> He puts his paw to his mouth and thinks/writes, "What could I put in it that would be of interest to a future age?"<BR><BR> He takes off his hat and stands smiling next to the time capsule. He writes, "My hat, of course!"<BR><BR> He leans hatless, on the shovel and looks at the sign that reads, 'Time Capsule Do Not Open Until 6987!" He writes, "Five thousand years from now, another civilization will be able to see what we wore on the desert."<BR><BR> He lies under his blanket, shivering on the desert floor, with a rock as a pillow. He writes, "That night it got very cold."<BR><BR> He writes, "The next day I opened the time capsule, Love, Spike" Spike sits on the ground, the shovel halfway into the ground next to him, the time capsule opened next to him, and his hat on his head.<BR><BR>
