Poncho: One of the cats ate one of my kibbles! Chazz: So what? You've eaten the cats' food lots of times. Poncho: But the cats get delicious canned food! I get rotten lousy kibble! Chazz: That's 'cause the cats are finicky. Poncho: Okay, then! I'm gonna be fin-- Poncho: --icky too! Chazz: Did you just eat a bug in the middle of the word "finicky"?
One of our Shelties did that, too. He would also bite yellow jackets out of the air. But he usually spit those out.
