Beth Johnson of Ohio built a wooden yo-yo 12 FT in circumference and weighing 4620 lbs., and tested it using a crane!

the yo-yo was 12’ in diameter and weighed around 7300 lbs. Seems to me that if she made it with 1/8" MDF and filled the cavity with expandable foam we could have seen it go back up again, (it would have weighed about 93% less)
