Hmmmm. Very interesting. The one person conservatives least want to see as president is Bernie Sanders, a self-described “democratic socialist,” however inaccurate (Bernie is no socialist, more like an FDR new deal guy).
So all of a sudden we see Steve Kelley and so many other conservative commentators whining about how poor, poor Bernie is being treated so unfairly. Boo hoo.
The crocodile tears stink to swamp heaven. Steve Kelley and all the others who are suddenly coming to poor, poor Bernie’s defense (including Trump himself) are gaslighting. They are not defending Bernie. They are sowing discord and trying to fire up the Berniecrats. They want to give ammo to the Bernie people because the progressive who really terrifies them is Elizabeth Warren, who has a very similar policy message but does not scare people with INACCURATE claims of being a socialist and, unlike Bernie, who says all the right thing but has never achieved any actual significant achievements, is a real Democrat with real achievements.
