In school I’ve learnt [Br.] the British pronunciation of aunt /aunts, later I’ve learned [Am.] the American sound of aunts and it sounds like ants… I like to study the different pronunciations and as a consequence thereof the many associated meanings and possibilities in jokes and comic strips!
