America, Explained. Even the third world, college is free. (Man 1: So, tell me again: why do I have to take $80,000 in high-interest loans to attend college?) (Man 2: To keep taxes low for rich people.) (Man 1: Oh. Right.) Even in the third world, medical care is free. (Woman: Wait, I forget: Why did my sister die because she didn't have health insurance?) (Man 1: She died so that rich people could pay low taxes.) Even in the third world, people get 8 weeks of paid vacation. (Man 1: Um, why do we only get 2 weeks? Why is that ok?) (Woman 2: It's so rich people can earn higher profits.) So what makes America the greatest nation on earth? (Man 3: If you don't get sick from working long hours to pay off your student loans and die?) (Woman 3: It's our quality of life!) (Man 3: For some of us. Anyway.)
