Democracy wasn't working out. The two parties were too similar to attract voters and squabbled too much to get anything done. (Man 1: The people demand a 6.4% tax cut for the rich!) (Man 2: I don't know which people you know, but my people won't rest for more than 6.3%) Deep in the heartland, the dynamic scion of a legendary family of patriots decided to seize the moment. (Man 3: But you lost.) (George Bush: Only legally and mathematically! Karmically, the presidency is mine!) Calling in favors and bullying opponents, he made his move. The coup was bloodless and the nation rejoiced! (MAn 1: Yes, but if you set aside the constitution and remember that five of us are republicans, it all makes perfect sense.) (Man 4: True... I'd never thought of it that way.) It's a new American century with it comes to a New America- under the infinite wisdom of Generalissimo El Busho! (George Bush: Just think how much money we'll save on elections!)
