I rarely ever carry my cell phone. My wife, on the other hand, has two. Like the rest of Ecuador, she can’t live without her WhatsApp, FaceBook, Email Google, Text Messaging etc…etc… etc… on her phones.
I use mine only for emergencies or when I think my wife may have to get in touch with me, or I need to reach her. Although I have the ability to use all the apps on my phone, I don’t. I have my HP laptop and my Lenovo Tablet for all that other stuff. I can use either to make long-distance calls from if necessary and local calls from the Tablet. As far as I’m concerned, I could easily live without the phone – I very, very rarely will even answer the landline in the house.
