Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for December 29, 1991
Transcript:
NATE: yuck! DADL Have you finished your thank you letter to Aunt Edna? NATE: No, I can't think of what to write. DAD: Just write write what comes naturally! Just be youself! Dear Aunt Edna: Thank you for the shirt you gave me for Christmas. Blue is my favorite color. I guess the shirt you gave me isn't exactly blue though. It is more like a gross pruple. Anyway, you should see the sweater Ellen got. It is big and brown. When she wears it, she looks like a giant mole. (ha ha) Speaking of moles, how is the one on your face? Well, that's all for now. Thanks again for the shirt. It is good to have something to wear in case all my nice clothes are being washed or something. Happy new Year! Love, Nate NATE: I'm done! DAD: Let me see. Nate, remember when I told you to just be yourself? NATE: Yeah? DAD: Be someone else.
Aunt Edna looks…scary.
