Ellen: Omigosh! Kenny's coming up the drive way! quick, Nate answer the door! Nate: Me? He's your boyfriend? Ellen: I don't want him to think i'm sitting around waiting for him to invite me to the dance! Nate: Even though you are? Ellen: Shut up, jerk! just let him in.... and don't mention the dance! Kenny: Hi, Nate! Nate: Hi, Kenny! Finally decided to get off your butt and ask Ellen to the dance, eh?
I’ve never been to a dance so I don’t know what it feels like to ask someone. Either way, if I had an older sister dating I would probably be just like Nate in regards to it. LOL
Panel five, Kenny comes in blushing and say’s “hi”. Ellen- “Well I know that your going to ask me and (not that I’ve been thinking about it) but I guess I can go with you to the dance”.
