"BACK TO SCHOOL" a poem by Nate Wright Nate: DANG, man! Already? It is early September And leaves which are green Will soon turn bright orange (Perhaps tangerine.) We escaped from the class On a Friday in June. Back-to-school sales began On the next afternoon. We played baseball all June. In July, we went swimmin: At the beach, I was mobbed By adoring cute women! But soon August rolled by, As did summer romances. We began to dread school (Everybody but Francis) Francis: Do you think we'll get to study quantum physics this year? BOY, I hope so! Our vacation is through. We all had quite a ball. Yes, the summer is over... Nate: Sigh. ...And here comes the fall.
