Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for August 18, 1993
Transcript:
Cathy: To Mark, who was sprawled on a beach while I spend two weekends in the office trying to cover his rear. To Cindy, whose perky postcard from Spain arrived the day I had to empty 19 file drawers trying to find the numbers for the presentation she begged me to make for her. To Brian, Mr. "I-can't-be reached-by-phone-but-don't-worry-everything's-covered" who got 46 irate calls his first day out, all routed to me. Mr. Pinkley: On behalf of the entire stuff, please take your vacation first next year. Cathy: It wouldn't be as meaningful.
