I remember when mailboxes were red and blue like that. They’ve been all blue since at least the late-1960s/early-1970s.

That’s when they were common, too. Nowadays, they are only in the vicinity of a Post Office ! ! ! !

I saw a mailman emptying one, didn’t even know it was there until then
