I’ve never used ice after exercise. Is it useful? I exercise, but I don’t usually get sore muscles. For joints, pain can lead to arthritis, so I try to avoid pain.
Working out to get the flab of winter out, I’ve been riding my bike since the New Year’s when I bought it, a single speed/Fixie meaning 1 gear, 12 miles is about an hour and 10 minutes averaging 10+ mph
Cold works, up to a point. When I had foot surgery, they ran a line with icewater into the cast I had to wear to keep it cool, and ‘reduce the swelling.’ Six weeks later when the cast came off, I had a frostbite injury. Took forever to get that skin to heal.

Spring Fever, after a certain age, means burning through the accumulation of winter.

A seldom-used rowing machine is such an awkward piece of exercise equipment; it’s neither easily moved nor a useful clothes rack.
