I’m also impressed with how large Rod’s hands are. That basketball in panel 2 looks like a Nerf ball.

My not so far fetched prediction – Rod passes to Leo instead of trying to be the hero, Leo hits the shot, Milford wins, the whole team loves Rod again because he was unselfish, Coach Nonads goes ballistic claiming Rod fouled his player on the steal, throws a tantrum, Gil offers some gracious winner comment and Nonads tells him to $#*% off, NBA scouts swarm Rod offering him contracts, Milford is crowned state champions, Jami misses the whole thing because he was trying to find the Pokémon card he dropped under the bleachers.

At least one of these will come true! And speaking of true, it’s true that today’s Mopped Up Thorp is online.
