Used to be a chain called “Carlos O’Brien’s”

You might be surprised, but in the 1800’s a LOT of Irish people emigrated to Mexico as well as to the U.S. When I was studying Spanish in grade school, our text book was written by a guy named O’Connor — which we were told to pronounce as “oh cone OR.”

There’s no Shenanigans Restaurant nearby?

I’m guessin’ they got green Dos Equis and Corona!

Groan! my buddy eats hot dogs with celery instead of a bun, he says they’re Irish cuz they’re green

will you be dining on the pati o’furniture Ralph?

And out back, they have Patty O’Furniture.

I don’t get it.

Better a taco salad on St. Patrick’s day than corned beef with cabbage. What a boring dinner that would be.

Pinch him for that dad joke, someone.

They should have gone to an English restaurant. Saint Patrick was British, born in Birdoswald in what is now Cumbria, England. He was captured by Irish pirates, enslaved, escaped and went back to Ireland to convert them to Christianity.
