@brainles: same claim was made for increasingly and graphically violent movies, television, and even included many Disney and Looney Tunes cartoons in the late 20th century.
When you combine that with the increasing isolation brought on by over dependence on indifferent and even viciously hateful social media exposure, it is not difficult to understand why individuals in several age groups resort to violence.
While I cannot agree that such violence will ever solve the problems those individuals magnify until overloaded emotions erupt, I also do not see solutions for it – a fact which I deeply regret.
