Mrs. Angelini: I was a little girl during World War II, and it seemed like everybody was poor. Mrs. Angelini: Nobody got new shoes or clothes because we had to conserve for the war effort. Even things like butter nd sugar were rationed. Mrs. Angelini: See, everybody got these coupon books...Red coupons were for meat, butter and cheese...Blue was for canned foods. It sure was tough, but we stuck together and won! Heart: speaking of coupons, I've got one here for a free vanilla shake. I'd ask you to come along, but there will probably be a line and you've already been through so much. Mrs. Angelini: You, Miss Heart, are spoiled rotten!
