Heart of the City by Steenz for October 10, 2002
Transcript:
Heart: Did your father come back, Mr. Nussbaum? Man: Anna and I waited for hours, but soon we could wait no more.... We rushed into the smoke and mayhem of Vienna, and everywhere was the shattered glass of broken store windows. People jammed the streets, but nowhere did we see father. Then, in a line of men, I saw a familiar face... Leo! Your father was arrested! We're all being arrested! Get out of Vienna! Boy: Mr. Rosenburg! Why? What is happening? Man: The Nazis called it Kristallnacht, but the Jewish people would always know it as the "night of broken glass."
Damn it. >.<
